Hi! I am Sophia Terry and I am a freshman at Baylor here in Waco! I am currently an undecided major transferring into the Pre-Business program on the pro sales track in hopes of being a medical sales professional. I love hanging out with kids and have been since about 7th grade! Along with occasional babysitting for a variety of families, the last two years of high school I co nannied for two families in my hometown (Charlotte, NC) and it was the best experience of my life! This job entailed driving a one and five year old (one family) to school, camps, errands, etc. As well as a 3, 7 and 9 year old (another family)to sports practices and camps. With both families I would do meal prep for kids schools and camps, occasional laundry and house cleaning as well as being equipped with car seats installation! I have Read more worked with children from ages 0 months -13 yrs. I believe that nannying/babysitting is one of the most rewarding but perfectly challenging jobs! In addition to babysitting/nannying locally I work at my church nursery center on Sundays, back home and I have worked at a bilingual VBS at my church over the summer for children with both financial and special needs! I love working with kids because I have always found connecting with them to be eye opening for me! I love to see the way kids see the world, and I think it makes me a better person in the process! I am really excited to get plugged in to a good job community of families outside of college now that I am here in Texas!
