Hi, my name is Mya, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for over five years. I have experience caring for children from six weeks old to ten years old through both private nannying and three years of daycare work. I have nannied for families long term and understand the importance of consistency, routine, and building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I grew up in my grandmother’s daycare in Raleigh, North Carolina, which she owned and operated for over forty years. Once I was old enough, I volunteered many hours there, gaining hands on experience in a structured childcare setting. I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and always approach each child with patience and understanding.
