Hey! My name is Emily. I currently am a full time nanny for three children ages 3-7! I have worked at this household for two years now. The family I nanny for became more than just a job, we all are like a second family. I love these kids and my top priority is to keep them safe. I know the nature of being a nanny is close knit as you spend a lot of time together. Meshing with the family is so important to me! As well as giving impeccable care, I did all laundry, cooking for the kids, light housekeeping, taking the kids to summer camps, after school activities such as swim lessons or fun outings like hiking, picnics, museums, playgrounds, animal farms and more. I did weekly grocery shopping for the family too, keeping the fridge stocked. I kept things tidy, helped with all duties of the Read more home and with the kids. I previously was a manager at a dog daycare, training and boarding facility for three years as well. The skills I have gained from that position assisted in growing my patience, awareness and understanding. I learned how to run a daycare of a high end, high volume facility and facilitating the day for all employees. I opened, and closed overseeing all tasks, payments, phone calls were completed. I have experience as well with home health care and being a nursing assistant. I worked directly with the elderly community. I assisted with daily tasks as simple as house cleaning, prepping meals, playing memory games for my dementia patients to bathing, grooming and dressing them. I have some years of college under my belt and also have my 200 RYT and I also completed a 300 RYT program. This is yoga teacher training! I am a very go with the flow type person. I am kind, reliable, responsible, fun, creative and extremely caring. I love being outside, camping, hanging out with my ESA Bexley and hiking in my free time. I am very active, health conscious and believe in eating healthy and exercising. I take pride in caring for others, it has always been a passion in my life to help others around me. I have a calm, understanding demeanor. Especially with my yoga training I have boundless self love and understanding of skills that have changed my life.
