Hi! My name is Abby, and I’m a junior at Auburn University studying Marketing. I absolutely love working with kids and have been around them my entire life. I grew up in a big family with seven siblings, so babysitting and helping take care of younger kids has always come naturally to me! I have years of babysitting experience with children of different ages and personalities. In high school, I was also involved in Best Buddies, which gave me the opportunity to build friendships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Because of this experience, I am comfortable and happy caring for children of all abilities and making sure every child feels included, supported, and understood. While I do not currently have any formal childcare or first aid certifications, I am responsible, attentive, and calm under pressure. I’m also patient, outgoing, organized, and always happy to play games, help with homework, make meals, or keep kids entertained. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and getting to know their individual personalities. My goal is always to make sure kids feel safe, comfortable, and have fun while giving parents peace of mind while they’re away!
