Hi there! My name's Laurel and I've been a babysitter for around 4 years, coupled with taking care of my two younger sisters since they were born. I'm great with kids and I love to interact with them, read stories to them, play make-believe games with them, and take them to parks, pools, and playgrounds. The only things I'm not a fan of are excessive television and video games, because I'd much prefer for the kids to spend time with me expanding their own minds. On that note, I'm a huge advocate for education and I love to pass on the passion for learning that my parents gave me. I'd be happy to tutor kids in the time I have with them, or I can even come back for a separate tutoring time when needed. I'm not squeamish, so I can easily change a dirty diaper or clean up vomit Read more or bandage a cut. I'm also a pretty good cook, if I do say so myself, so don't worry about leaving a microwavable dinner for the kids-- I'd love to make them something from scratch, just provide me with details about their dietary needs!
