I first started working with children when I graduated middle school. I began working at my elementary school watching the after school children. During college I babysat for a year and then I later got a job at a daycare/preschool as a teacher and worked there for about 9 months. I’m currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College and I will graduate in May with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have quite a bit of experience with children and it’s exciting and keeps me going. I had to step away from my roll as a teacher for now as I am pregnant, I’m now in my second trimester and had to step away with the amount of sickness I was having the first trimester. As that is slowly going away I would love to get back to work with children but in a bit slower pace than a Read more daycare/preschool setting.
