Hi! My name is Reem, I’m an enthusiastic person who is very passionate about childcare, and providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for all children. My background caring for children began when I was the older cousin always babysitting my aunts and uncles children to eventually becoming the communities babysitter. Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked closely with children of all age groups. I’m currently a Substitute Teacher and Instructional Assistant at Fairfax County Public Schools. I spend my free time teaching Sunday School, being a mentor, and babysitting. I’m flexible with availabilities, and can accommodate a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends. I have my own car for convenient transportation. I’m able to stay calm under pressure / or in emergencies and I’m confident in caring for children with a range of medical conditions, intellectual disabilities, anxiety disorders, and other special needs. I have experience with Read more newborns and children with special needs, and can provide the meticulous care they need. My focus is on providing your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into the best version of themselves. I love crafts, baking, games, pretend play, encouraging independent time if beneficial and being active. With experience as a tutor and substitute and teacher assistant, I’m prepared to help your child with homework at any level. I also love to cook and clean, and I’m a very organized person. I’m kind but firm, and will work closely with you to ensure that your child's care aligns with your expectations, cultural values, and unique needs. I also want to ensure your child feels empowered, cared for and heard throughout my care! I am also fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in Arabic!
