My name is Yasmin and I am 25 years old. I am currently enrolled in esthetician school and work full time as a server. I moved from Maryland to Virginia six years ago and have built strong experience in hospitality and customer service during that time. My childcare experience began at the age of 16, when I babysat for a family for approximately two years. I cared for their 5 year old child, and my responsibilities included preparing meals and snacks, creating a fun and engaging environment, and safely transporting the child to extracurricular activities. After the family relocated out of state, I continued to babysit for various families on an occasional basis. In addition to hands on experience, I took a Child Development course in high school, which gave me a deeper understanding of children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. This knowledge has helped me become more patient, attentive, and intentional when caring for children. Since moving to Virginia, I have focused on hospitality and customer service. However, I am now seeking to return to babysitting, specifically with a family who offers a consistent, set schedule. I thrive in structured and organized environments and value reliability and routine. I am responsible, dependable, and genuinely enjoy providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for children.
