Hello! I’m Tessa. I have worked with kids in various settings for about 15 years. I have nannied and babysat, I’ve worked in classrooms, in outdoor education, and was the director of a nature-based afterschool program. In these various settings I have worked with infants through elementary-school-age kids, occasionally with middle schoolers as well. My formal education in child development started in high school through the Child Development Program that led to preschool teacher certification in RI. I earned a dual bachelor’s in psychology and child studies, which involved work in an infant classroom in a daycare setting and led to a teacher certification for infants and toddlers in MA & CT. I also have a master’s degree in Ecopsychology. My favorite part of working with kids is learning their personalities and engaging in and supporting their interests.
