Hi, my name is Hailey Hatin. I am a 19-year-old nursing student at the University of Florida. Although I am originally from St. Augustine, Florida, I am currently seeking local childcare opportunities in Gainesville during the school year. Over the past several years, I have gained extensive experience working with children. For the past four years, I have worked at a local surf camp where I care for and supervise children ranging in age from 3 to 14. This role has strengthened my ability to ensure safety, communicate effectively with families, and create a positive and engaging environment for children. In Gainesville, I have also volunteered at Baby Gator, where I worked with VPK-aged children in a structured educational setting. In addition, I regularly babysit for multiple families in St. Augustine and truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with the children and families I support. As a nursing student, I hold Read more a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which includes CPR, pulse checks, rescue breathing, and bag-valve mask usage. I am also a certified nursing assistant (CNA), trained in providing personal care such as bathing and feeding, as well as maintaining safety and responding calmly in emergency situations. I am a responsible, attentive, and compassionate caregiver who prioritizes the well-being and comfort of every child in my care.
