As the oldest sister to three younger siblings, I have gained many years of hands-on experience working with children and nurturing their growth. I am passionate about fostering learning, confidence, and joy in the minds of youth. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Language, Speech, and Hearing and plan to continue my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. My passion for speech and language development grew after shadowing a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school. Interacting with the students and witnessing their progress was incredibly rewarding and confirmed my desire to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. In addition to shadowing, I have worked in childcare settings and volunteered for several years at my church as a Vacation Bible School camp leader, where I supported children’s learning and social development. This past semester, I also served as a tutor at a local middle Read more school on my university campus, assisting students with their Spanish assignments and helping them build academic confidence. I am fluent in Spanish, which allows me to better support and connect with diverse students and families. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, and always willing to support children in achieving success. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for those in my care. I currently live in Lutz, and in my free time, I enjoy exploring nature trails, watching sunrises and sunsets, and baking—activities that reflect my calm, creative, and nurturing personality.
