Hello! My name is Alondra, and I’m exited to share a little about myself with you. I’m 21 years old and currently a third-year Art and Design major at UC Santa Cruz. I’ll be graduating with my bachelor’s degree this summer, am I’m so exited! I’ve been babysitting since my freshman year of high school. I started by caring for my neighbor’s children and soon began sitting for more families. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked with kids of all ages, usually two at a time, but I’ve also managed up to three children at once. I’m experienced with bedtime routines, staying consistent with families schedules, and creating a warm, safe, and fun environment for the kids in my care. My passion for art and creativity spills into my babysitting style. I love incorporating crafts, drawing, and other hands-on activities into our time together, it’s a great way to Read more keep kids engaged and spark their imagination. I’m also a proud multi-linguist, I speak both English and Spanish Fluently and I’m currently learning additional languages. As an active individual, I have no trouble keeping up with children’s boundless energy. Whether we’re playing outside, going for walks, or organizing scavenger hunts, I enjoy staying active and making sure kids have fun while staying safe. Some important things to know about me. I always prioritize the safety and well being of the children and take my responsibilities seriously. When it comes to childcare, safety is always my top priority. I’m CPR and First Aid certified through another job. While my current certification isn’t specific to infants and children, I’m more than willing to get pediatric CPR and First Aid certified if that’s something you’d like. I’m usually available for weekends and occasional weeknights babysitting, perfect for day nights or extra help. I’m also great with pets and happy to assist with light chores and tidying up.
