Currently, I work as a part time youth librarian. I spend my days creating fun storytimes to begin teaching early literacy to toddlers and preschoolers. I also create family programs at the library that usually focuses on literacy, science, mathematics, and creativity. Recently I ran a spy STEAM program where the kiddos got a chance to be spies and find out who stole the missing library secrets. Before working as a youth librarian, I also worked in latchkey at the Trinity Lutheran Church. On average I was responsible for about 14 toddlers where I created activities to entertain them as they went to and from preschool. I love working with kids. They always have something interesting to say. Kid books are way more fun than adult books. I love reading to kids, especially funny books. I also love having dance parties.
