Meet Liya

I’m a college student majoring in Human Physiology with a minor in Public Health. I’ve been caring for children since I was in elementary school, starting with my baby cousin at just 1 year old. Growing up in a large Christian family, I’ve always taken on a caregiving role with my siblings and younger cousins—hospitality and looking after others have always been a central part of my life. My first paid babysitting job was with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, working full-time (8 hours a day, Monday through Friday) every summer for two years. I've also cared for a newborn (unpaid), handling everything from diaper changes to bottle prep and feeding. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and bring lots of energy and patience to every babysitting job. I love engaging kids in fun, age-appropriate activities, and I’m always happy to help out with light chores around the house.
