Hi! I’m Beatriz, I’m 23 years old, and I’m a Certified Medical Assistant currently completing my prerequisites for nursing school. I’ve always had a soft spot for children and caring for others is something I genuinely enjoy! Growing up in a close-knit family, I’ve spent years helping care for my younger siblings, cousins, and nieces, from newborns and toddlers to teenagers. I’ve also babysat for family friends and a coworker’s 5-year-old child. These experiences have taught me how every child has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I love getting to know what makes each one unique! Through my work in family medicine, I’ve gained experience working with pediatric patients, which has strengthened my patience, compassion, and communication skills. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish! I’d describe myself as empathetic, attentive, dependable, and easygoing.
