Hi there! My name is Cierra Porter. I am 18 years old and currently a sophomore elementary education major at Northern Kentucky University. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old.I am very experienced when it comes to children, I have interned for the Boys and Girls clubs of Kentuckiana as well as mentored intellectually disabled high school students as we as college students. My hobbies include: Singing, Art, and outdoor activities. I have always had a passion for teaching, inspiring, and building relationships with children. Considering that I work full time at the Norton Commons YMCA’s youth summer camp, I gained extremely important information about enteracting with children while also becoming CPR certified! Seeing the lightbulb go off over a child’s head is what I strive to do while also making sure our bond is strong!
