Hi! My name is Elliott but I go by Ellie, and I am currently a college student at SIU studying Special Education. I have always loved working with children and have several years of experience through babysitting, nannying, and working in childcare. I currently work at a daycare and also get hands-on experience working with students with disabilities through my college program and clinical placement. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child and finding things that they enjoy. I am comfortable caring for children with different personalities, abilities, communication styles, and support needs. I have experience caring for multiple children at once as well as children with special needs. I am patient, caring, dependable, and energetic. I enjoy doing crafts, playing games, going outside, helping with routines, and finding activities that are fun and appropriate for each child.
