•As a recent Masters in Public Health grad, and yoga instructor I bring a health focused and mindful approach to caring for others. •My years of babysitting and daycare experience have cultivated a confidence in caring for children but have also fostered a joy for it as well. I am up for playing games the kids make up, engaging in or planning activities that cultivate learning, confidence and self expression for the child, and also holding space for those times when tougher emotions arise. •While my graduate studies excelled my project planning and team building skills, my undergraduate experience really helped me build a foundation for understating childhood development and gaining direct experience with social emotional learning in daycare and classroom settings. •Some of the activities I’ve prepared for kids in the past include: Cooking and Baking together (specifically healthy nutrient dense meals, introducing fruits and veggies in meals they’re Read more not often found in for fun), yoga and meditation sessions, arts and crafts, nature walks, “spa” days, and more. •I love trying new things, and I am always happy to jump on board with what works best for the families I work with.
