I have 2 years of experience with working with children in grades 2nd and 3rd and also 4th and 5th. I also have a little experience with kindergartners during an internship type program in my high school where I worked in a classroom with them for a class period. Outside of school I was a summer camp counselor for 2 years and worked with kids 40 hours a week and did multiple activities throughout the day including games, recess, snack, movie time, lunch, etc. I am originally an elementary education major but now I major in nursing and plan on taking the childcare nursing route or ER nursing. I think I am well qualified for childcare due to my outgoing personality and my passion for nurturing makes me well qualified for roles in childcare.
