I have 5 years experience in early childhood education, 2 years experience as a special education paraprofessional in a Montessori setting, I have 2 children with ADHD ages 6 and 8, I’m first aid and CPR certified as well as medication administration certified, fire safety and standard precaution certified, blood borne pathogens certified, have had training on abusive head trauma, took 20 hour course on caring for children who have experienced trauma, I have an associate’s degree in foundations of teacher education, I’m a level 12 on the Wisconsin Registry for childcare teachers, I have my own vehicle with full coverage insurance and 2 car seats, I am comfortable with animals, I can cook, clean, I love doing arts and crafts, outings, I have extensive experience in lesson planning and curriculum. Before I was in childcare I was a CNA/caregiver/Medical Assistant so I am also well versed in healthcare and Read more am able to care for children with complex health needs as well. One of my children is also very involved in county programming (CLTS waiver, Katie Beckett) and I have experience in navigating that system.
