I love being a sitter because caring for others especially children and seniors has always come naturally to me. Growing up as the oldest of seven siblings, I was often the one stepping in to nurture and guide, and it brought me genuine joy. Whether it’s helping with homework, preparing meals, or simply being a calming presence, I find deep fulfillment in creating a safe, loving environment where others can thrive. I have extensive experience in both child and senior care. I’ve worked at summer camps, served as a PCA (Personal Care Assistant) in elementary and high school settings, and provided hands-on care to my diabetic grandparents. I’ve also babysat for infants and toddlers in Raleigh, NC for 5 years, and spent years helping raise my siblings including caring for my youngest sister from birth. I’m comfortable with a range of ages and needs, from newborns to elderly individuals. I’m Read more CPR and First Aid certified and trained in basic medical response and personal care. I’m attentive, patient, and able to manage multiple tasks from meal prep and hygiene care to helping with routines like bedtime and homework. I’m also pursuing a career in nursing, which reflects my deep commitment to caregiving. My background in psychology helps me better understand developmental needs and emotional support for those I care for.
