I love kids and have lots of energy to keep up with them! I am highly qualified and have excellent experience and recommendations. I speak nearly fluent French, some Spanish, tutor academics, and teach swim lessons. I also have experience teaching at St. Matthew’s Parish School and coaching their swim team. I recently graduated from the University of Miami, FL with a degree in Neuroscience where I was a member of the University's Swim & Dive team. I have been a competitive swimmer for 17 years and have competed in 2 Olympic Games. Although I was born in the US, I have dual citizenship to Mauritius which allowed me this opportunity. Swimming has taught me hard work and time management. I have taught/coached swimming to individuals ages 1-65. I was previously head coach of a girls' high school swim team, masters coach, and club team coach. Therefore, I am CPR Read more and first aid certified (Lifeguard Certified for infants, children, adults). I was born in Minnesota (where my family resides) with two younger sisters (current ages 14 and 18) whom I helped care for on a regular basis while growing up. I have lots of energy and am very creative. I love to play games and do art projects with kids. I love playing outside and getting fresh air instead of sitting in front of the TV and computer screen all day. Trips to the local park or museum are always an option for me! I have enough energy and patience to keep up with children.
