Hi, I'm Kellis! I am a Loving and Dedicated Nanny, Babysitter, and Educator who brings a trove of hard-earned experience and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I have a personal love for music, singing, nature and the sciences, but I aim to offer a balanced 'curriculum' that discovers the many learning areas through explorative play. While our activities and adventures will naturally vary based on age (and season), I hope to always pass on an appreciation and respect for nature and the outdoors, music and art, asking questions, and very importantly, for each other and ourselves. 🙌🏼 My goal is to develop a trusting relationship to promote confidence and independence in all children. I want them to know they are loved and safe to try new things, and that when they need it, they will find the positive examples and supportive encouragement to keep trying. I have been a Nanny in the Greenwood area for 11+ years, and I was a preschool teacher (1-year-olds) for almost 6 years prior. I recently moved to Queen Anne! From infants as young as 6 weeks old to school-age children, my experience is Extensive and my references are Sparkling! ✨ Although I do not drive, I love to take kids on amazing adventures using just my feet, a stroller, and the bus. I work to create a fun and safe learning environment at all times. I am a Fully Vaccinated and First Aid & CPR Certified Non-Smoker with a Clean Background Check! Whether we are at home or out and about, I always put the safety and well-being of the children I care for above everything else. 💞 When possible, I enjoy supporting families with housework such as dishes (bottles, too!), laundry, meal prep, or other tasks, as needed.
