I am currently a student at North Carolina State University, majoring in Biology planning to go to medical school to be a pediatric surgeon. I plan on pursuing a career in which I can constantly be around children as well as give them new chances and opportunities. I worked for the City of Raleigh as an after school counselor supervising children age 5-12. I attended trainings to stay updated on the best ways to keep our children safe and having fun with rec. activities, intellectually stimulating games, and finding creative ways to entertain children without needing much supplies. For 10 months I was a nanny for a family of 5 and transported their 4th, 9th, and 11th grade aged children from school, to their home, and to their extracurricular classes. As well as running errands for the parents, walking the dog, and light house work.
