Hi parents! I've spent many years working with children of all ages. I've nannied infants from newborn to age 1 (including twins), worked as a daycare assistant teacher for 2 to 3 year olds, and most recently helped care for after-school groups of elementary-age kids on-site with the Rockford and Harlem public school districts. I also enjoy helping with school pickups and dropoffs, homework, and after-school routines. I naturally care for your children with the same love I'd give my own, always respecting the rules you set as their parent while supporting their emotional and developmental growth. As the oldest of four and a prior caregiver to my nonverbal younger sister with severe disabilities, I bring patience, attentiveness, and an easygoing approach to bathing, dressing, feeding, playtime, and even inevitable messy accidents! I'm happy to pitch in however I can, including cooking, housekeeping, or pet care as time allows. Paloma was timely, flexible, and caring with my infant (11m/o) and toddler (2.5 y/o). She put both my infant and toddler to sleep, and managed two at the same time. She provided text and picture updates and even captured a few notes that she left behind on the counter. I'd recommend!
