I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old when I took the babysitting class at Red Cross. I have a sister who’s 6 years younger than me and I’ve been helping take care of her my whole life. We have lots of kids and babies in our family so I’m around kids all the time. Right out of high school I started going to UAA for Early Childhood Education and made it about halfway before i decided to take a break. In 2015 I nannied two 1 year old babies for a year and I started working at a daycare program in 2017 as a teacher assistant floating between all age groups until I suffered a brain injury in 2018. I took a few years to heal before trying to get back into anything and now I am ready to start again. I just refreshed and am certified Read more in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training and am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. I just recently started my CDA (Childhood Development Associate credential) with a specialty in Infant/Toddler.
