We can't recommend Carolyn highly enough! Carolyn took care of our 5 year old for almost an year and my son totally enjoyed his time with her. She found the perfect balance of bonding with my son doing fun activities while gently nudging him when needed. Carolyn is incredibly reliable, always on time and communicative of any changes. She was very careful about our son’s daily routines and respectful of all the house rules; like strictly sticking to our "no screen time" policy. We did not have to worry when our son was in her care. She handled the daily school pickup, meals, taking him to different classes, and making sure he stays on track with his reading and writing. She was extremely patient and effective in getting my son to practice his piano pieces, improving his techniques and ability to play for longer and longer durations. A huge bonus for us has been the creative enrichment. As an artist herself, she taught him so much through fantastic, hands-on watercolor and oil pastel projects. It is so rare to find someone who balances structure with play, art enrichment and care. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her!
