From a young age, I’ve always had a natural passion for taking care of children. Instead of playing with typical toys, I was the child who nurtured baby dolls, sang them to sleep, and ensured they were well cared for. This love for caregiving naturally evolved as I grew up. So, of course, as soon as I was able to, i started to work when I was 14 years old as a Spanish summer camp assistant. This is where my journey began. I taught Spanish and cared for big groups of children ranging from ages two to six years old. I stayed there for over four consecutive summers, and I gained invaluable experience managing children’s needs, organizing playdates and ensuring safety. Additionally, my most recent job is as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I had been for two years. This role allowed me to support children with autism and Read more special needs, implementing behavior plans and helping them develop essential life skills, like potty training. My experience spans a wide age range, from 1 years old to 12 years old children, and I’m well-versed in both everyday caregiving and crisis intervention. Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, aiming to become a behavior analyst. This educational path further solidifies my commitment to understanding and supporting children in meaningful ways. I also hold CPR and first aid certifications, ensuring that I’m prepared for any emergency.
