I grew up in Montoursville and moved away raised a family and enjoyed 2 careers. My bachelor's degree is in child development. I later earned a master's degree in healthcare administration. I worked my way through school as a nanny and as a day care staff. The second half of my career I was a licensed nursing home administrator. After having a surprise 80th birthday party for my very healthy mom; I expressed my desire to be able to spend time with her and return to Montoursville. My husband was retiring, and I chose to leave my 28-year career behind. In November 2024, I completed the certification process to become a guest teacher, substituting on an on-call basis. My background checks are current. I must recertify CPR/First Aide certification.
