I'm Meredith, a Charlottesville-native and rising Second-Year at the University of Virginia! I am a Presidential Public Service Scholar in the College of Arts and Sciences, and lover of the great outdoors. I am fluent in both English and French and recently spent a year abroad in Paris, France. I will be back home for much of Summer 2024 and would love to do some occasional babysitting/nannying on top of summer camp in Ivy. The bulk of my experience is with kids ages 5-13, but I am also comfortable with infants and toddlers. I'd love to be an occasional friendly face, transport to the pool, the park, or just an assist for date-nights or events. I am lifeguard and CPR certified and have extensive swim (and tennis) lesson experience. I am most happy outside, and love nothing more than looking for animals at the creek, a dip in the pool, Read more or just sharing some quiet reading time in the sun. I love working with ages 6-8, in particular, and as a sleepaway camp counselor and "Little Girls Cabin" girl, have much experience with bedtime, and all that comes with it (comforting homesickness, bad dreams and of course, telling bedtime stories).
