Hello! My name is Emily. For 10+ years I have worked with children (newborn to 16 years) and families. I have been employed as a daycare associate, babysitter, tutor and nanny. As a nanny, I provide childcare, educational activities, outdoor exploration, age appropriate games and play, transportation to school/activities and assist with homework/tutoring. Children are provided healthy meals and snacks. Happy to provide light housekeeping, if requested. I am also available for overnight and weekend nanny services. I am CPR and first aid certified. I also worked for Easter Seals of Iowa as a Respite Weekend Associate. Easter Seals provides respite services to children and adults with disabilities, allowing parents/caregivers a break. Easter Seals clients would arrive at Camp Sunnyside Fridays at 5:00pm and leave Sundays at 5:00pm. Respite Weekend Associates stayed the entire weekend managing a cabin of clients. Respite Weekend Associates cared for clients, assisted with meals and Read more snacks, and planned activities. A safe, fun, and entertaining weekend was had by all. My passion lies with children; working as a partner with the parent(s), fostering a fun, loving environment to watch them grow into incredible tiny humans and amazing young adults.
