I love being a sitter because It’s so inspiring to watch each and every child grow and to build strong connections with them and making a difference even if it is a small differences. It mean a lot to me seeing how much growth and development they experience. Experiences I have is working in two different childcare centers. The ages I have worked are from 6 weeks old up to 8 years old. Skills and trainings I do have are all DCFS trainings for Illinois gateways, some skills I have earned from my experience in childcare are social emotional skills, decision making, time management, and great communication skills.
