Hi families! My name is McKenzi, and I’m a caring, dependable, and compassionate college nursing student with a genuine passion for caring for others, especially infants and children of all ages! I believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow. Through my nursing education and hands-on clinical experience, I’ve developed valuable skills in patience, communication, safety awareness, and providing attentive, individualized care. I also have BLS/CPR and First Aid training, which has prepared me to respond calmly and responsibly in emergency situations. I have a special appreciation for the different stages of childhood, from the delicate needs of newborns and infants to the curiosity and energy of toddlers and older children. I understand the importance of providing gentle, attentive care for infants, including maintaining feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap routines, and creating a safe, comforting environment.
