As a parent of now five adult children (my youngest is 20), I have always loved being with children. I believe that children will thrive and grow when the environment is prepared to meet their needs at each stage of their development. I believe that so strongly that I took the Montessori training and am certified to teach as a Montessori guide with children from birth to 18. I have worked as a Montessori guide with children of all ages and I am also a Montessori parent. Not only have I worked as a Montessori teacher, I also ran an after school and summer camp program for children. I have conducted Montessori childbirth preparation classes as well as created a Montessori child-caring course (babysitting) for adolescents.
