Hi! My name is Hazel, and I love working with kids and creating a fun, and supportive environment for kids and parents alike. I’m currently pursing a degree in Child Psychology, which has helped me better understand children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs at different stages in age. I enjoy using what I’m learning to connect with kids and provide a comfortable environment for them. During my earlier high school years, I worked as a teachers aide at my church, helping care for kids 12 and under. My responsibility consisted of supervising the babies and toddlers, keeping them engaged by encouraging independent and group play time, helping older children with assignments, and preparing snacks during break times. Since moving in 2023, I’ve also helped care for my aunts new born baby, which gave me a lot of hands on experience with infant care and everyday childcare responsibilities. In addition to Read more childcare, I also have hands on experience caring for dogs. I myself have two small dogs who I love more than anything. I’m comfortable with daily pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets, and maintaining daily routines. I personally understand the importance of being attentive, patient, and responsible when caring for animals, and I’m very happy to help in pet friendly households.
