Hello, Im Devan, I’m a loving, dependable, and experienced caregiver with 14+ years of experience as a mother, along with caring for children since I was just 14 years old. Working with kids has always been something that comes naturally to me. I genuinely love being around children, getting to know their personalities, and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, heard, and cared for. Being a mom has taught me so much about patience, responsibility, flexibility, and—most importantly—how much trust parents are placing in the person caring for their children. I understand how hard it can be to leave your little ones with someone else, and I want every parent I work with to feel confident knowing their children are in caring and capable hands. I’m the type of caregiver who doesn’t just “watch” kids. I love keeping them engaged, playing with them, helping with homework, reading stories, Read more doing crafts, spending time outside, preparing meals or snacks, and making their day feel special. I’m also comfortable with the everyday routines that come with caring for children, including meals, naps, bedtime, clean-up, and keeping a consistent schedule. After more than a decade of motherhood, I’ve learned that every child is different. Some need extra patience, some need lots of activity and attention, and some simply need someone who will sit with them, listen, and make them feel understood. I try to meet each child where they are and treat them with the same kindness, patience, and respect I would want someone to show my own children. I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s child very seriously.
