I grew up watching my younger brother and multiple cousins like many others. My senior year of high school I began working at Shannons child care and preschool in Portland Oregon. I needed more hours and wanted more experience so I began working part-time at Fox and Bear preschool. while working at both of these daycares I learned many new techniques and saw a variety of different personalities in children. I learned how to work with many kids at once but also how to work based on a certain childs needs. I currently am a freshman at Western Oregon University majoring in physical education with a minor in health. I have completed online courses such as Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (RRCAN), Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety (ICCHS), I have my food handlers card, and I am CPR certified.
