I am a current Educational Sign Language Interpreter and have experience and training working with Pre-K-12 students with disabilities and disorders including, ADD/ADHD, Angelman Syndrome, Anxiety Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Depression, Downs Syndrome, Emotional and Intellectual Disorders and many more. I really enjoy working with children and finding new ways to teach those who learn differently. I am very familiar with special education and the IEP process. I also have very strong computer skills and extensive knowledge and experience with many types of software and apps, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) I raised a healthy, successful son with Asperger's Syndrome who is currently working while attending college. I firmly believe in positive behavior supports and no corporal punishments; the same way I raised my son. I also have current Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED and ServSafe Manager Certifications.
