Hello prospective families! My name is Lauren and I just moved from DC area to Long Beach, CA. I have 15 plus years of babysitting experience. I spent many summers as a nanny. I have worked with children ages from infants to high school. I am comfortable with watching multiple children at the same time, as I am a certified special education teacher of 9.5 years! I am passionate about educating children and enjoy using play, arts/crafts, music and outdoor play in my educating and caregiving practices. I am seeking babysitting work for occasional weekends and/or after school care and also open to full time babysitting until I can secure a teaching position. I am comfortable with pets and light housekeeping.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers.
