Hi! I've been a nanny and babysitter for over 14 years, caring for children from just a few weeks old up to age 12. What started as helping out a co-worker occasionally has grown into something I've done alongside my professional life for over a decade-and I genuinely love it. Most recently, I spent 7 years with one Brooklyn family, caring for their son from age 5 through 12. I've also worked with babies, toddlers, and sibling combos, including kids with autism and mood-related challenges. I'm confident juggling different needs, ages, and personalities-whether that's helping a toddler through potty training or guiding a 10-year-old through homework frustration. I'm comfortable with: -Infants, toddlers, and older children (including multiples) -Special needs (including mild autism and mood disorders) -Doctor visits -Daytime outings, pickups/drop-offs -Cooking, light cleaning, bedtime, bath time, homework help -Pet-friendly homes (I love animals!) I freelance & work remotely in sales Read more and marketing, which gives me a flexible schedule. Whether you need regular care or backup support, my goal is to make your life easier and help your child feel safe, supported, and seen.

Wendy came to babysit our 3 month old twice in a hotel room for dinner. She was great! Fantastic communication, punctual, was able to resettle our baby to sleep (no small feat!) and very trustworthy. We will definitely ask her again next time we visit.

Wendy has helped me care for my baby girl in ways that I can’t even begin to express. More than just the baby's caregiver, she has been a friend to me. Wendy is a good listener, hardworking, and punctual. During the toughest days with my toddler, whether involving teething pains or fevers, Wendy’s can-do attitude allowed me to feel, "It’s going to be okay." Wendy is an intelligent, empathetic individual who will always have your child’s best interest in mind. She helped create structured soothing routines for my energetic toddler. This allowed the baby to get adequate naps during the day, which is essential for early development. Her keen problem-solving approach helped my daughter eat better — whether that’s meal-prepping or brainstorming baby recipes. Children learn a lot about the world and themselves during playtime. My girl has learnt to build puzzles, explore musical toys and read through her library of books with Wendy, who encourages the curious 1-year-old to take the lead in figuring out her own interests. Most parents have an abundance of toys and iPads at their disposal which can easily overstimulate children. Wendy taught my baby to play by picking one toy at a time and avoiding screens. She also gently encourages the baby to take care of her belongings by putting them back on the shelves. This has allowed my baby to become calm and happy. Wendy helped me care for my baby girl at a time when trusting a responsible babysitter had become a significant hurdle for me. I had a child after a miscarriage and five IVF cycles. A traumatic birth induced postpartum anxiety, making it difficult to trust anyone. In helping care for my child with all her heart, she has also helped heal some of my trauma. I owe her my baby’s first words, first steps, and countless smiles. Any family would be lucky to have Wendy care for their child.

If you are in need of childcare, you’ve come to the right person. Wendy has worked with my family for the past eight years, since my son was five years old. She is loving, reliable, trust worthy and she was very good to my son and had not retired, moved out of state she would have continued to work with my family. I wish I could take her with me lol. She is the best!

Wendy has cared for both of my children on an as needed basis at my home when they were as young as newborns to now, where my oldest is approaching 13. She is kind hearted and deeply cares for their wellbeing and safety. She’s mindful of how to approach them in ways that are developmentally appropriate which I really appreciate. My oldest is neurodivergent and she approaches him with compassion and calmness. She is creative and willing to get down on the floor and play with them without missing a beat. She will meet your kiddo right where they are at. Any family would be very lucky to have Wendy look after their kiddos.
