Hi! My name is Mitchelle, and I’m a Psychology and Criminology graduate with a minor in Family Studies & Human Development. I currently work part-time at LensCrafters, so my schedule is very flexible. With at least two weeks’ notice, I can usually accommodate the schedule that works best for your family, including early mornings, evenings, late nights, and weekends. I’m also sometimes available during weekdays depending on my work schedule. I’ve always loved caring for kids and have years of hands-on experience helping raise my younger siblings from the time they were babies. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages and helping with diaper changes, bottle preparation, nap and bedtime routines, meals and snacks, homework, and fun, age-appropriate activities. I also completed an internship with Neighborhood House, where I worked with children as part of the behavioral support team. I gained experience supporting children’s emotional and developmental needs, encouraging Read more positive behaviors, using sensory activities, and helping create a safe and nurturing environment. My education has also given me a strong foundation in child development, behavior, and learning, which I enjoy incorporating into everyday activities. I’m patient, energetic, dependable, and easy to communicate with. I enjoy helping kids build confidence, explore their creativity, and have fun while maintaining a safe and structured environment. Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, educational games, or homework help, I like being actively involved and making sure children feel comfortable and cared for. I have reliable transportation and am happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, or pet care when needed. Most importantly, I want parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are in good hands and that I’ll treat their family with the same care and respect I would my own.
