My name is Mya Andrea Barajas, I want to tell you a little more about me. I am a first generation college student, I attended Sonoma State University and graduate May 18th, 2024. I knew I wanted to pursue a path in education. Therefore, I started my education with the “Hutchins School of liberal studies” which was an accelerated program for those who want to become teachers. I did not receive my credential, only a degree but am striving to receive my credential in the near future. In the past four years, I have received great professors and the knowledge/schooling to be a great addition to the educational field. I would like to tell you about the extensive experience with working in childcare. Through the ending of middle school and beginning of highschool, I have had experience working for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. I would assist in homework, Read more care and helping out leaders. I have also had immense experience working with children by babysitting. I babysat my cousins, infants, and children in elementary school. In my most recent babysitting opportunity, I took care of two elementary school girls for three years, where I assisted them with homework and creating fun/engaging activities.
