Hello! My name is Beth and I have been watching children for over ten years. I am 37 years old and am certified in CPR and First Aid, as well as certified as a medical assistant/phlebotomist. I have my own vehicle and a clean driving record. I have worked as a Montessori School Assistant and an Outdoor School and Wilderness Survival Instructor to children, along with my nanny jobs. I would love to help you have a safe and caring person to leave your children with. A little about myself, I love children. I have not found anything in this world that I enjoy doing more than being with children. I have watched children for families in and around OR, WA, CA and CO, as well as being a live-in nanny for a time in the North of Spain through a program called WorkAway. Being around children brings me a Read more joy and energy that I have a hard time describing. What ages of children have I watched and how many at one time? I have watched children from all ages, the youngest being 4 months and the oldest being 16 years old. I have watched as many as 5 children, (18 on some days as an Outdoor School teacher) at one time and as few as 1. A bit about what kind of a child watching style it is that I have. I am a huge hands on kind of sitter. I do not believe in having the tv on when I am being paid to watch your child. Instead I bring books, games, sensory toys, stuffed animals and a positive attitude that always spreads to the children. I will always opt for castles and pirate ships over video games and movies. I do not mind putting on movies if it is a wish of the parents and something the children have been told they can do but will find other activities for them to do otherwise. Music is something I love putting on for children, and having dance parties and listening to helpful learning songs is something I find essential, especially for the younger ones. I am looking forward to meeting you and your family in person! Please let me know if I can answer any questions you might have.
