1. Why do you love being a sitter? What I love most about being a sitter is being able to spend meaningful, developmental time with children while giving parents peace of mind. I have so much respect for parents, especially working parents, because I know how much responsibility comes with caring for a child. I would love to make a family's day a little easier by providing dependable, caring support and knowing that their child is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they are away. I also genuinely enjoy watching children learn, explore, and develop their own personalities. 2. What experience do you have? My first and most meaningful childcare experience has been helping raise my younger sister. I have been involved in her care since she was born, starting when I was around seven years old, while my parents were busy with work and other responsibilities. I have Read more also cared for an infant who was 6 months old for approximately two months in 2023. In addition, I worked as an Activity Leader at "Mishki", a Russian-speaking children's summer camp from 2022–2024. I created and led educational and creative activities for children ages 3–12, maintained a safe and supportive environment, and communicated with children in both Russian and English. 3. What skills and training do you have? I am bilingual in English and Russian and have strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. My education is also focused on healthcare: I earned an Associate's Degree in Pre-Health and have experience through a nursing internship at a rehabilitation facility and pharmacy technician training. My professional experience has taught me how to be dependable, attentive to detail, patient, and comfortable handling different responsibilities at once. I also have more than five years of guest and client service experience, which has strengthened my ability to communicate respectfully with families and create a welcoming, trustworthy environment.
