A little bit about me; I’m 30 years old and recently moved back to the Kansas City area after living in Northwest Arkansas for the past five years. I grew up in Overland Park, so this truly feels like home again. I’m an animal lover and share my life with both a dog and a cat, so I’m very comfortable around pets of all kinds. I do have tattoos, but I’m always happy to cover them if preferred. Families describe me as friendly, reliable, and easy to communicate with, and I look forward to the opportunity to support your family’s needs. Caregiving is one of my life's greatest passions, and is a very integral part of who I am. I have been caring for children since 13, from my family members and family friends to professional nanny positions. I’m Read more the first to be called to watch the little ones when needed. I’m looking to becoming a caregiver full time after being in the medical field (ophthalmologist technician) for the past 10 years. I am also interested in part time and as needed position's. My greatest strength in caregiving is the ability to step into any role with compassion. I’m able to see kids as fully autonomous human beings, with their very own feelings, passions, and personalities, and that gives me a very strong sense of compassion for them. I am able to look at a child and acknowledge their whole self and be able to put myself in their little shoes. When children are viewed as humans who feel and experience all the same things we do, but without the emotional regulation that is acquired throughout life, it makes it way easier to be able to guide and love on them throughout all their highs and lows. I simply love children and enjoy them learn and grow at every stage of their lives. I’m reliable, responsible, personable, caring and highly experienced and recommended.
