Hi my name is Sarah. Let me tell you a little about me. I am located in Round Lake and am willing to travel up to 10 miles or you can drop off. I have worked with kids all by life, ever since my little brother was born. However, I started babysitting when I was 13. I eventually decided to go to school for elementary education with an ESL endorsement. I worked as a toddler teacher-former pre k. Within my experience, I realized that I prefer having one-on-one interactions with the kiddos. I feel like I can truly make a difference with a personal environment. My availability is open M-F. Occasionally, I babysit on the weekend, therefore, I would just need to coordinate if weekends are needed. Specifically, I have professionally worked with kids of all ages, including babies young as a few weeks to kids up to 12. However, Read more I have worked with teens too. I have taken several courses in special education, so I’m prepared for all kiddos and their backgrounds. I want to add that throughout college, I was in several classrooms, so I have had several background checks. Plus, my daycare job required it too, so I have a clean history. I am CPR and first aid certified for infants, children, and adults. My babysitting model is very child-focused. Engage with the kids in free play, pretend play, creative arts, or in academic ways.
