Hi! I’m a mom of three school-aged kids, ranging in age from 5 to 14. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t love children. As a child, I couldn’t wait to be old enough to babysit. As an adult, I’ve worked in the school system and in church preschools with individuals with varying abilities. For over four years, I directed a church’s special needs ministry, which included facilitating respite care events for families affected by disabilities. I care for each child as I would my own—with love, respect, compassion, and healthy structure and boundaries. With my youngest child starting school this year, I would love to use some of my newfound free time to help another family who is walking through the younger years.
