Building long lasting relationships is what make me love this job. Children I care for 20 years ago are grown and we all keep in touch. Sharing memories everytime I'm invited to their graduation, birthday or family thanksgiving give me a sense of accomplishment. Knowing that I contributed raising a beautiful soul and successful citizen is what keeps me in the job and get me going. I love kids, I raised four of my own and unfortunately they don't need me as much anymore. Their world resume now around their friends, school, work or other relationships. Occasional mommy time here and there with holidays. This is why I'd love to continue caring for little ones, provide the support their family need to embrace life. I have administrative skills at managing multiple calendars, staying organized, coordinate projects and events. I'm available to take kids to the children museum, other museums, libraries for story time, crafting and role play, dinosor ridge, tchou-tchou train adventure, feeding the giraffe at the zoo, feeding stingray at the aquarium. Playdate with friends or simply playtime at a park. I do not encourage tv, or electronic time for over 2 hours a day split this time in 30 mins increment during the day to watch educative videos for manners, civism, and other educational program according to age. I encourage children to be handy with motor skills, to develop and, enable them to explore, gain independence, and perform daily tasks like self-care. create, innovate, learning, and play. With parents permission, and depending on age, I offer rewards for good behavior, homework, parents assigned shores etc... I'm always open to learn, improve and adapt per each family need because what works one child, will not neccessary work for another.
