Hello! My name is Alyssa Jordan, and I am a senior at Florida A&M University studying General Health Sciences. My long-term professional goal is to become an occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics. So, working with children is not only something I enjoy, but something I am deeply passionate about. I have experience working with children of different ages and abilities, including children who needed full specialized hands-on support as well as children diagnosed with ASD (autism) and ADHD. Therefore, I am comfortable providing attentive, personalized care and supporting children through their daily routines. This includes preparing meals, helping with homework, assisting with bath time and bedtime, and engaging in fun, structured play. I also have experience helping children learn important life skills such as proper hygiene, cleaning up after themselves, following routines, and practicing good manners in a patient and encouraging way. I believe in meeting each child where they Read more are and creating a calm, supportive environment that helps them feel safe, confident, and understood. I am caring, reliable, and easygoing, and I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and families. My goal is always to make children feel comfortable while supporting their growth, independence, and happiness. Note: I am First Aid, CPR, and AED certified
