Hello! My name is Lizbeth, and I'm a college student and aspiring teacher looking for work this semester. I have over 5 years of paid work experience, am CPR certified, and speak fluent Spanish. I have a lot of experience working with kids, and I absolutely love it! During the summer, I usually work at Camp Galileo, one of my favorite places in the whole world. I have worked with Camp Galileo for three summers now (2018, 2019, 2021). Camp taught me that a big part of my job is to teach my kids to be brave enough to imagine. I love very few things as much as I love watching a child come up with an idea, believe in themself enough to work hard and develop it, and then be brave enough to share it. I feel especially proud and fulfilled when I know that I have contributed to Read more a child’s empowerment and belief in their creativity. I've had many more jobs as a teacher and tutor, but given this is a babysitting site, I should tell you about my experience babysitting. I have three younger cousins, ages 3 months, 6 years, and 9 years old, and I've taken care of them for the past five-ish years. I have experience doing all the tasks, from potty training to feeding to being patient during tantrums. And I love every minute of it! It is usually not difficult for me to bond with children. I ask them a billion questions to get them to tell me stories before they can ask me if I know any (which I do). I also know many camp songs and am great at interpreting characters during play or storytime. During my free time I ride my bike, up to 100 miles in a day! Another cool thing about myself is that I grew up in a Spanish speaking household. And that's all I'll share for now. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
